Problems with the Light Control Modules (LCM / LKM) are quite common for BMW. The problems starts mostly with intermittent failure of your car lights (light on, on instrument panel) and gradually results in a total failure, then it is highly likely that the electronic module is at fault. For the new LCM module the problem always show up with head lichts (left or right) continues on also when the ignition key is shut off!
